Toren’s life began shortly after mother Sophia received an oxytocin injection and unceremoniously whelped him headfirst onto the concrete floor at the emergency VETS clinic. Toren was a beautiful puppy from the start. Unfortunately, like many young Ridgeback boys, Toren suffered from “mommy-itis” and would only show for Marsa. So Marsa cranked-up her courage, dusted-off her somewhat mediocre handling skills and headed to the show ring with Toren. The first weekend out, Mr. Ed Hall awarded Toren a 3 point major and with that win, his career was launched. Since then, Toren has acquiesced to having Patti Clark show him and between the efforts of Patti and Marsa, Toren has accrued an impressive list of accomplishments in his short career in the show ring. We are looking forward to many more successes as he matures and his career continues.
